Prime Rib with Mashed Potatoes & Black Garlic Butter Recipe Equipment

Prime Rib Recipe Ingredients

Core Ingredients for Prime Rib

  • 3 to 5 lbs - Beef Prime Rib cut
  • 2 oz - Garlic powder
  • 2 oz - Fennel Pollen
  • 2 oz - Salt

Prime Rib Recipe Instructions

  • Salt and rub the prime rib 48 hrs before cooking it
  • Allow the prime rib to air dry in the refrigerator uncovered
  • Pull prime rib out of the refrigerator and rest on the counter for 1 hour before cooking
  • Preheat the oven to 325F
  • Roast prime rib until an internal temperature of 110F
  • Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 1 hour before cutting and serving

Mashed Potato Recipe Ingredients

Core Ingredients for Mashed Potatoes

  • 1 lb - Potato, Russet washed and peeled and diced
  • 4 oz - Cream
  • 2 oz - Black Garlic Butter

Additional Ingredients

  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Mashed Potato Recipe Instructions

  • Wash, peel, dice and cook the potatoes
  • Once cooked, mash with the butter
  • Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper
