Cornbread Recipe Ingredients

Core Ingredients for CORNBREAD

  • 2 cups - Cornmeal (Fine Ground)
  • 2 tsp - Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp - Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp - Salt
  • 1.5 cups - Buttermilk (Fresh made)
  • 4 Tbsp - Butter (Fresh made)
  • 1 ea - Egg
  • 4 Tbsp - Honey

Cornbread Recipe Instructions

  • Mix together all the dry ingredients
  • Gently whisk the egg into the buttermilk
  • Preheat the oven to 400F
  • Melt the butter in a cast iron pan
  • Whisk the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients
  • Finely chop the green onions
  • Pour into the cast iron pan with melted butter
  • Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes
